A history of excelence

Textiles have always been one of the cornerstones of the Made in Italy manufacture and Fulgar, a leading company in the production and distribution of Polyamide 6,6 - one of the most used synthetic yarns in the world - and covered elastomers in the textile and technical sectors, is one of the most representative cases.

FULGAR S.p.A. was born in 1979 in Castel Goffredo in the province of Mantua, the place of the current headquarters, in the district of women’s hosiery. The company went from supplying local companies in the early 80s, to creating more versatile products with its own brand in the late 90s, until the last phase started in 2000, with the internationalization and opening of new plants.

Thanks to the passion for innovation, in Fulgar have always lived the tradition of the best made in Italy textiles and the continuous search for cutting-edge technologies and solutions for the future of the sector. A unique approach that led her to embrace values and "Sustainability" projects long before the theme became a must for industry. Fulgar, in fact, for over 10 years, has undertaken for all the Group’s companies, a structured green program that involves both the production process and the offer of products.
