FULGAR launches an edutainment project with WRAD
to tell the sustainable future of fashion
The edutainment series “On the Trail of the Fashion of the Future” officially begins, created by Fulgar, an Italian company leader in the production of high-performance yarns, in collaboration with WRÅD, a consulting agency and creative studio founded by Matteo Ward, one of the most authoritative voices in the field of responsible fashion.
The project unfolds through a series of four videos designed to engage a broad audience—from industry professionals to the most conscious consumers—on the topic of responsibility in textile raw materials. An innovative format that combines information and entertainment: with accessible language and a fresh, pop tone, the videos invite viewers to look at polyamide from a new perspective. Often perceived as an “uncomfortable” and polluting material, it is instead portrayed as a key resource for a more advanced and aware textile supply chain thanks to the research and technologies behind Fulgar’s eco-friendly products.
The first episode, “Beyond the Material, the Real Challenge of Sustainability”, opens the series by shifting attention from the individual product to the system as a whole: an invitation to reflect on the need to build a system capable of integrating innovation, careful resource management, and attention to social and environmental impacts. A vision that has always guided Fulgar, which has been committed for over a decade to developing fibers and processes that combine performance, traceability, and respect for the environment.
The next episodes, to be released between December and February 2026, will delve into the entire portfolio of Fulgar’s eco-friendly products, showcasing tangible examples of sustainability and circularity within the textile supply chain. In the spotlight:
- Q-NOVA®: recycled polyamide 6.6 fiber obtained from regenerated raw materials
- EVO®: 100% bio-based polyamide 6.6 yarn derived from renewable sources such as castor seeds and industrial corn
- Q-CYCLE®: polyamide 6.6 yarn in which 100% of the raw material required for its production has been replaced with pyrolysis oil sourced from end-of-life and discarded tires
“Today more than ever, it is essential to understand what lies behind a fabric or garment. With this project, we want to provide a tool for knowledge and reflection while also encouraging an open and concrete dialogue. Talking about responsibility also means educating: only an informed consumer can become a true driver of change,” said Daniela Antunes, Marketing Manager of Fulgar.
“Fulgar was among the first companies in Italy to invest in responsible innovation, developing yarns capable of reducing environmental impact. Their ongoing commitment to research and development demonstrates that the future of textile materials depends on continuous and conscious evolution. With these video capsules, we want to narrate the evolution of materials while also sparking a reflection: sustainability is not limited to choosing a material or process, but lies in redefining the role of the products we place on the market,” stated Alice Fortuna, Director of Communication at WRÅD.
