AMNI SOUL ECO® BY FULGAR PROTAGONIST OF THE NEW BAM BAMBOO CLOTHING CAPSULE
A back to gym collection with the emphasis on sustainability
After a summer of relaxation and fun it’s back to the everyday routine, so it’s important to find some me-time outside the office when we can recharge our batteries and enjoy the boost we need at this time of year.
Launched for this back to gym experience, the new FLEXA line from BAM Bamboo Clothing, a British sportswear brand offering high performance and quality materials, combines performance, style and sustainability. The limited edition Flexa blends bamboo-based fibres with Amni Soul Eco®, a green fibre based on research carried out by the Solvay Group and produced and distributed by Fulgar.
If disposed of correctly in a special anaerobic disposal facility this fibre biodegrades ten times faster that conventional products.
One result of this collaboration is Flexa, BAM Bamboo Clothing’s first capsule collection with a focus on accellerated decomposition – seamless, extremely comfy sports that are ideal for the toughest training regimes. A body suit, a top, women‘s leggings and a men’s active top for perfect support, sculpting effect, cling and fit even during workouts.
Backed by its commitment to constantly improve the performance of fabrics and materials in terms of nature and the environment, BAM has chosen Fulgar’s sustainable portfolio for this new active top. “Through collaborations with a sector leader like Fulgar we’re re-evaluating our in-house production processes to create new high-performance clothing items that embrace the principles of environmental and social sustainability. The new FLEXA collection is a clear example. We hope that one day all clothing will be produced in this way”, says Merryn Chilcott, Sustainability and Technical Manager of BAM.
