FULGAR TALKS ABOUT THE COMMITMENT TO AN INCREASINGLY SUSTAINABLE AND CIRCULAR TEXTILE SUPPLY CHAIN.
Fulgar, the global leader in the production of man-made yarns, was the protagonist with a contribution to the discussion on the circular economy.
On the third day of the RCS Academy Green Talk 2022, Fulgar, the global leader in the production of man-made yarns, was the protagonist with a contribution to the discussion on the circular economy.
The event, entirely dedicated to sustainability, was structured in a series of talks moderated by the journalists of "Il Corriere della Sera". The debates represented an opportunity for discussion on issues related to the circular economy and governance. Very topical issues, but with the awareness that investing in sustainability is a strategic action necessary for the competitiveness of companies in global markets.
The intervention of Fulgar fit perfectly into this context, a reality in which the tradition of Italian textiles, the commitment to innovation and an ever-growing attention to sustainability issues coexist, with the creation of an entire portfolio of products greens. Fulgar's sustainable program is a constantly evolving project, with the aim of offering the market a range of highly performing yarns capable of reconciling high technical characteristics, quality and sustainability.
To bear witness to this commitment, Alan Garosi - Fulgar's Head of Marketing - was the protagonist of the debate conducted by Edoardo Vigna, Editor-in-Chief and Head of Planet 2030 of "Il Corriere della Sera" entitled "Regeneration and reduction of waste: the circularity of materials”. An opportunity to tell guests about Fulgar's innovations and its vocation for transforming production waste into opportunities, thus following the principles of a circular economy and eco-design.
Garosi then concluded by saying: “Sustainability has been a mission for us for over a decade and we believe it is one of the key assets for the development of the fashion textile sector of the future. This is why we constantly invest in wide-ranging circular economy projects. Projects that we develop not only internally and which today also involve European players. In fact, the latest novelty is the innovative Q-CYCLE® yarn, chemically obtained from the recycling of end-of-life tires.”
