Q-CYCLE® BY FULGAR, A SUCCESSFUL CASE HISTOR
More and more companies interested in the revolutionary yarn.
Q-CYCLE® by Fulgar confirms itself as a triumph of the 100% European textile supply chain, which is increasingly sustainable. The yarn comes from an innovative chemical recycling technology in which the raw material necessary to produce the yarn has been replaced by pyrolysis oil from used and discarded tyres. Q-CYCLE® is therefore able to offer lightness, grip and resistance, in the same way as a virgin polyamide, but with a green look.
Q-CYCLE® has obtained the ISCC PLUS certification, which guarantees worldwide standards of sustainability, traceability and balancing of the masses of the entire production system. Label which accompanies the study of the environmental impact of the LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) production chain and which indicates a significant reduction in CO2 emissions compared to conventional synthetic yarns. The yarn also complies with the Oeko-TEX STD CLASS II STD 100 Appendix 6 certification, a unique standard in the sector of textile raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, which marks products that do not present risks to consumer health.
“We are very satisfied with this innovative product which is gaining approval from the market and we are happy to have also obtained ISCC PLUS. All these internationally recognized certifications legitimize what we do and declare in terms of transparency and traceability. In this way, brands approach each other even more easily and with more trust and we, at the same time, can best support them with our skills”, comments Daniela Antunes, Marketing Manager of Fulgar.
Q-CYCLE® will be the protagonist from 31 January to 2 February 2023 on the occasion of MILANO UNICA in the collections of some of the most important names in the textile supply chain such as Borgini, Gipitex, Lemar, Luxury Jersey, Serates and many others.
