How are they made?

Single covered yarn is produced by helically wrapping a Fulgar polyamide filament around a LYCRA® fibre core. Depending on the desired performance and aesthetic characteristics, the covering yarn may consist of parallel filaments, textured multifilaments, or microfilaments. A higher number of wrapping turns provides greater yarn uniformity, coverage, and overall quality.

Double covered yarn is produced by wrapping two Fulgar polyamide filaments around the LYCRA® fibre core in opposite directions (S and Z twist). This balanced construction enhances yarn stability, coverage, and durability while preserving excellent elasticity and shape recovery.
