ATY - Air Textured Polyamide 6.6 Yarns

SOFT AND NATURAL HAND FEEL

ATY yarns feature a voluminous, soft and irregular filament structure that mimics the appearance and hand feel of natural fibres while maintaining the high performance of synthetic polyamide. They are widely used for fabrics requiring a natural look with technical functionality.

How it is made?

ATY (Air Textured Yarn) is a synthetic yarn produced by feeding continuous filaments into a high-pressure air-jet nozzle, which tangles, separates, and loops the fibers. This mechanical process transforms smooth, dense industrial filaments into a bulky, soft yarn with a "spun-like" hand-feel.
