EMANA® technology and FIR far infrared yarn

EMANA® is an intelligent polyamide 6.6 yarn developed by the Solvay Group with far infrared technology (FIR). The bioactive minerals embedded in the fiber absorb the natural body heat and release it back to the skin in the form of far infrared rays. This process contributes to comfort and well-being during garment use.

Thanks to its technical characteristics, EMANA® is used for garments dedicated to sportswear, activewear, technical underwear, seamless apparel, legwear and performance clothing.

PROPERTIES AND APPLICATIONS

EMANA® Perfect Skin

EMANA® Perfect Skin combines FIR technology with garments designed for daily comfort and well-being, developing fabrics intended to support the body during prolonged garment use.

Benefits of EMANA® Perfect Skin:

helps improve the appearance of the skin;
helps maximize comfort and well-being in contact with the skin;
promotes a smoother and more even skin appearance.

To achieve cosmetic results, it is recommended to wear a garment made with EMANA® for at least 6 hours a day for 30 consecutive days.

EMANA® Active

EMANA® Active is designed for sportswear and activewear applications requiring comfort in movement and optimized well-being during daily and sports activities.

EMANA® Performance

EMANA® Performance is developed for garments dedicated to physical activity and muscle recovery.

Wearing clothes with Emana® during the physical activities helps to obtain better results, and also guaranteeing more comfort and well-being thanks to its polyamide 6.6 base.

Benefits of EMANA® Performance:

helps reduce muscle fatigue;
supports faster muscle recovery;
helps improve sports performance;
maximizes comfort and well-being during physical activity and recovery phases;
provides an extreme comfort sensation during garment use.

To obtain benefits related to sports activity, it is recommended to wear EMANA® Performance garments at least 30 minutes before exercise. To support muscle recovery, it is recommended to wear a garment made with EMANA® for at least 6 hours a day after sports activity. EMANA® in textile and fashion brand projects

Over the years, EMANA® has been selected by textile companies and fashion brands for the development of garments dedicated to activewear, sportswear, technical underwear and performance apparel.

EMANA® technology has recently been integrated into projects focused on the evolution of technical sportswear and activewear, such as GS Closure, where the yarn is used in applications designed to combine comfort, performance and textile innovation. EMANA® has also been selected by brands such as Oceansapart and DEHA for activewear capsule collections and technical leggings focused on comfort, well-being and prolonged garment use during everyday and sports activities. In the seamless and performance apparel sector, companies such as Cifra have developed projects dedicated to technical garments with far infrared technology, while collections such as MyShapes EMANA® Active have highlighted the applications of the yarn in bodywear, fitted garments and activewear.

EMANA® technology has also been used in cosmetotextile projects such as BioSlim, developed together with Uniqa, demonstrating the versatility of the yarn in applications dedicated to comfort, well-being and textile innovation for the fashion and sportswear industry.

Guaranteed safety

EMANA is a patented technology which has undergone scientific tests with international and approved protocols conducted by independent laboratories. Over 90 women involved in these tests said that they felt the benefits. EMANA is also OEKO-TEX® CLASSE I certified and safe for human health. EMANA has not been tested on pregnant women and is not suitable as beachwear.
