What is Q-NOVA®?
Q-NOVA® is a recycled and eco-sustainable Nylon 6.6 fiber obtained from regenerated raw materials, according to the criteria and requirements of modern traceability.
What is Q-NOVA® made of?
Q-NOVA® is made up of waste materials from the company's main production cycle. Such materials could not be reused in any other way and should be disposed of externally as waste.
Does Q-NOVA® foresee sustainable recycling?
Yes, Q-NOVA® uses the innovative MCS process, a 0 KM mechanical regeneration system, which does not involve the use of chemical materials that would compromise the sustainability of the product.
How much is the recycled material content?
More than 50% of Q-NOVA® fiber is made from recycled material.
Is Q-NOVA® certified?
Yes, Q-NOVA® is certified and traced by the Global Recycle Standard system, by the European ECOLABEL EU system as well as by the OEKO-TEX STD 100 CLASS I system. These certifications are a guarantee for the fibre.
Is there an environmental impact study?
Yes, the advantage in terms of lower emissions and water consumption have been measured according to the European method LCA - ISO 14040 and ISO 14044.
How is it indicated on the label?
Q-NOVA® is inside in the Polyamide (PA) product class. On the packaging or on any information material, if you wish you can mention the recycled characteristic of Q-NOVA® and/or the performances.
It is necessary to indicate the % and the commercial name of the product. Ex. This garment contains Q-NOVA® recycled fibre.
Are there any specifications for using the logo?
Yes, there are. The use of the logo is regulated through the specific request form.
Are there any tags?
