FULGAR AT TECHTEXTIL FRANKFURT 2026
innovation and performance in technical fabrics through strategic partnerships
Fulgar, a leading international company in the production of innovative and sustainable yarns, will be indirectly present at Techtextil Frankfurt 2026 (April 21–24, Messe Frankfurt), the leading international trade fair dedicated to technical textiles and nonwovens, thanks to strategic projects with key players in the textile supply chain. At the heart of this presence are two collaborations that embody the company’s vision in terms of innovation and circularity: the one with Impetus Group and the one with BASF.
The partnership with Impetus Group reflects the shared commitment to combining technical performance, protection, and environmental responsibility in high-performance application contexts. An advanced workwear solution that integrates wool with Q-GEO®, Fulgar’s bio-based polyamide yarn with flame-retardant properties. A textile solution designed to ensure safety, durability, and comfort, demonstrating how innovation in fiber development can translate into tangible value for the final product.
At the same time, the collaboration with BASF, which will present numerous proposals for the textile industry at the fair, represents a further step forward in Fulgar’s journey toward circularity. At the center is loopamid®, BASF’s innovative solution for recycling polyamide 6 (PA6) derived from textile waste, helping to promote a circular economy model in fashion. Loopamid® is the first PA6 made exclusively from textile waste and has already been used in concrete projects such as the Zara jacket launched in 2024, an adidas tracksuit developed as part of the T-Rex project, and finally a T-shirt made by Pompea using Fulgar yarn with loopamid® ingredients.
The collaboration with Impetus and BASF represents a concrete example of this strategy: a development model in which material innovation and expertise come together to meet the market’s most advanced needs.
