Iluna’s sustainable lace is made from Q-NOVA® yarn by Fulgar
On the occasion of MarediModa: the leading European trade fair dedicated to fabrics
On the occasion of MarediModa — the leading European trade fair dedicated to fabrics for beachwear, lingerie, and athleisure, taking place in Cannes from today until October 24 — Iluna Group, a leader in lace production, presents a collection that combines design, innovation, and sustainability. The company reaffirms its commitment to sustainable innovation through low environmental impact products and processes, featuring a unique and inimitable style.
This commitment is fully shared by Fulgar, an Italian company recognized worldwide as a leader in the man-made fiber sector. For over a decade, Fulgar has been developing innovative and traceable solutions that respect the environment, with a cutting-edge portfolio of eco-sustainable yarns.
Iluna has in fact chosen Q-NOVA® by Fulgar for several pieces in the collection showcased at the fair — the eco-sustainable polyamide 6.6 fiber obtained from regenerated raw materials through a low-impact mechanical process. This yarn significantly reduces the ecological footprint of textile production without compromising the elegance and refinement of details.
“Even such a precious and elegant detail as lace can be sustainable,” says Daniela Antunes, Marketing Manager at Fulgar. “Q-NOVA® demonstrates that it is possible to combine aesthetics with environmental responsibility, bringing innovation even to the most delicate and sophisticated fabrics — for a new way of understanding fashion, where elegance, innovation, and tangible values coexist without compromise.
