GREEN DNA

Serates, a textile company from the Como area, takes the opportunity provided by the Performance Days event to present its new eco-sustainable fabrics made with two innovative green yarns by Fulgar.

The bio-based yarn EVO® by Fulgar, used in combination with a selection of prestigious linens, has inspired the Bio-original fabric, and AMNI SOUL ECO® provides a biodegradable DNA for the Degrì fabric used in rope-dyed articles to enhance the natural and cotton-like super-matt nylon

100% BIO-BASED

 

EVO® by Fulgar yarn is obtained from castor oil. The castor oil plant grows spontaneously and is not a foodstuff – it is a totally renewable resource that does not require large amounts of water or take up land that can be used to cultivate food crops.  

Suitable for all textile applications and the ideal solution for the sportswear world, EVO® by Fulgar is ultralight, super stretch and extremely breathable. It is also quick-drying and non-iron, with natural thermal and anti-bacterial properties ; it offers a whole series of distinctive values and benefits that ensure maximum comfort and exclusive performance against a background of total respect for nature.

BIODEGRADABLE

 

AMNI SOUL ECO®  is a formula enhanced by polyamide 6.6 developed by the Rhodia-Solvay group. It enables manufacturers to create garments that decompose quickly at the end of their lifecycle by making it easier for bacteria to access and digest the waste material, speeding up the bio-degradation process.

Amni Soul Eco® is eliminated by the Earth’s natural processes in around five years, while other fabrics remain in the environment for decades before decomposing fully. The many benefits offered by Amni Soul Eco® include softness, comfort, dyeing quality, breathability and Easy-Care performance.
