AIR-JET TEXTURED YARN

AIR JET yarns are a range of yarns combined with LYCRA® using an air system; these yarns are designed to manufacture very stretchy fabrics with a soft warm texture.

HOW THEY ARE MADE

 

The AIR JET processing technique consists in using an air jet to fuse the LYCRA® fibre to a textured polyamide thread; this process is called interlacing. In this way, the final yarn will have both the bulkiness and high covering power of the textured yarns and the extreme stretchiness and superior ability to spring back into shape of the elastomer thread.
