Essential basis for the innovation
Following market requests, in year 2000 Fulgar built a laboratory for research and development of new products. This space of 130 square meters is equipped with the best analysis instruments, like: automatic dynamometers, rotational microtome, crimp tester, microscopes with digital videocamera, analytic balance, electronic twister and reel.
Additionally we installed 2 hosiery machines, 2 monofeed, one rameuse, one seamless machine and 2 circular knitting machines for dyeing tests.
Connected to the new spinning plant, in the 2007 the society built a new laboratory for the study and examinations of raw material branch, closed with the most important Italian University.
Thanks to that, Fulgar’s aim has always been to maintain the development of new solutions and responses to demands from customers in the fashion sector.

Fulgar and Regulation REACH
EU Regulation 1907/06, better known as REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Autorization of Chemicals), has the aim to regulate the use of chemical substances all over the European Union. One of the most important consequences of REACH is the activation of a stream of informations that starts from raw materials suppliers till final users, in order to give an higher grade of safety to customers, and an higher level of environment consciousness.
Regarding REACH, Fulgar, following downstream users’ obligations, has request to each suppliers a REACH Declaration and has communicated, in order to be included in the Pre – Registration, specific use/uses of chemical substance/s provided. At the same time Fulgar has informed each customers its products are in accordance with values and limits set up by REACH Regulation, especially after the first release of SVCH List..
