Fulgar's poliamide products and covered yarns are used in sundry sectors and for all kinds of materials and fabrics, including hosiery, circular knitting, lingerie, beachwear and sports apparel. Indiscernible yet essential ingredients which have enabled Fulgar to provide backstage support to many of the greateest international success stories in the Textile-Fashion sector.
Being aware of this has caused Fulgar to keep up its unflagging efforts in the design process of a panoply of high-performing specialised products. Intelligent fibers developed which special needs and unique sectors in mind. Fibres which bear witness to Fulgar's uncanny ability and singular versatility in producing extremely high quality products which continue to prevail on today's chequered market.

By undertaking an internationalization process that began over ten years ago and which has led the company to assume a significant role in international markets, the Company, founded in Castel Goffredo at the end of the 70s, is today the leader of the Italian market and European. This was possible above all thanks to a substantial investment in a very modern spinning plant specialized in the production of polyamide 6,6.
The new plant was the real turning point in the corporate strategy, the basis for the development of the supply chain.

To support the continuous growth process, industrial plans follow one another designed to increase market shares, but also to refine and expand skills and specializations. The Company founded Fulgar Lanka in 2003, a company specialized in the production of textured polyamide 6,6 yarn, and Fulgar East Doo, in Serbia, in 2007, with the specific aim of providing customers with quality products at more competitive prices.

The international partnership with The LYCRA Company for the distribution and sale of LYCRA® Fiber for the European market, dated 2009, represents a further strategic success, allowing Fulgar to become the main exclusive distributor for Italy, Europe and Turkey.

What is also important is the agreement stipulated with Rhodia-Solvay for the production and distribution of the Emana® fiber for the European market and in 2015 the launch of the first 100% bio-based yarn EVO by Fulgar®.

Today Fulgar has over 1000 employees worldwide. The yarns produced are used for all kinds of clothing, the versatility of uses is the result of the planning, design and structure of the products, which takes into account the performance of use and the comfort required by the consumer.
